Oxedyne Hematite (fe2o3)
Hematite is a collection of crates built from first principles, providing foundational tools for building robust applications. See the github repo for more information.
This crate
This crate provides and implementation of Jason's Data And Type (JDAT) scheme, a superset of JSON that adds type annotations and binary encoding capabilities. The crate includes:
- A complete reference implementation of the JDAT format
- Support for both human-readable text and compact binary representations
- Built-in type annotations for precise data serialisation
- A rich set of numeric types including arbitrary precision integers and decimals
- Support for user-defined types through a flexible extension mechanism
- Comprehensive serialisation/deserialisation traits and derive macros
- Full JSON compatibility while providing additional functionality
